Mrs. Amy Woods grew up as the daughter of a Lutheran educator, and she has spent her entire education career in Lutheran schools. She attended Concordia University Nebraska and graduated with a major in Elementary Education with a concentration in Language.
Upon graduation, she taught at grades 3-5 at Holy Cross Lutheran School in Emma, MO for six months. Her first teaching call was to Messiah Lutheran School in Independence, MO in 1996. She taught multi-grade (3-5) classrooms at Messiah for three years until she came St. Paul's in Concordia in 1999. She began her tenure at St. Paul's as the Athletic Director for a few years and fifth grade teacher until the present.
Amy is married with 3 school aged children. She actively participates in Bible study, exercise, reading and spending time with her family.
